Here’s some news straight from the horse’s mouth.
Retired Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Will Jackson and his wife, LeBrina Jackson — a wellness entrepreneur and influencer who stars in “Heart & Hustle: Houston” — are bringing their 5-acre Texas horse farm to market for $2.5 million.
The residence is “all over the show,” Will Jackson told Gimme Shelter. The OWN series celebrates a group of successful black women who support each other while navigating “what it means to be a boss, a wife and a mother,” according to its tagline.
The house stands at 20431 Old Windmill Trail in Hockley, outside of Houston.
Jackson bought the property — part of the gated community of Spring Creek Ranch — for $1.2 million in 2020.
“We were boarding our horses at other people’s facilities, so we decided to buy our own horse farm. Now we’re also breeding horses. We love them, and we love this house,” he said. “We don’t want to move but we need more acreage. We are trying to move from a house on 5 acres to one on 50 acres.”
It will be sad to leave, they say.
“We also really like the community. It’s very quiet, and the home is not too big and it’s not too small. It’s intimate. I just like everything about it and hate to leave. If I could tear down the houses near me, I would. But I can’t,” he added.
LeBrina was a single mom of Brinon, 16, when she met Will through friends. They bonded in part over their shared love of horses. The couple also share Wynter Rose, 3. They also have more than a dozen horses, plus a cat.
A palm tree-lined drive leads to a traditional-style five-bedroom main house with a grand entrance showcasing a curved staircase. Built in 2010, the home features design details including custom tile, hardwood floors and crown moldings.
There’s also a chef’s kitchen with a butler’s pantry and an open layout to the living room, which features a gas log fireplace. A main bedroom suite comes with a spa-like bath and a walk in closet. There’s also a screening room and a home gym.
The equestrian facilities include eight stalls with tack and feed rooms, and three cross-fenced pastures. The grounds also boast an infinity pool and lots of space for entertaining.
LeBrina is the owner of Escape Spa in Houston, and she’s brought her love for wellness to the home. That includes installing a high-end filtration system and air-conditioning with blue lights that improve air quality.
“As dedicated wellness enthusiasts, we prioritize every facet of our bodies and health,” said LeBrina, who has been riding since she was a child, spurred on by her father, a ranch hand and horse whisperer. “Our home reflects this commitment; it features a top-tier RO filtration system and incorporates stunning natural elements of land, fire and water across our property, nourishing our souls. We also find immense joy and therapeutic energy in riding and observing our horses, akin to a peaceful sanctuary.”
The home gym is also set up for LeBrina’s sound baths.
The listing broker is Erwin Nicholas II, of Mr. Real Estate, who recently re-listed NBA star Tony Parker’s house for $16.5 million.
